About 20 kilometres south of Kharga Oasis, are located the villages of Ezbet Nasser (Nasser Village) and Bulaq, two mini-oases widely known for their natural hot springs. In fact, the water temperature in these springs rises to a high of 43 degrees Celsius. Such waters are believed to be very helpful in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis, and various skin allergies and diseases. But even perfectly healthy visitors and locals alike enjoy a dip in the springs, especially after a long day of sightseeing in the desert nearby.
If you choose not to seek the service of a private driver or tour guide in Kharga, you can reach Bulaq and Nasser villages by bus. In Kharga, look out for a bus heading for Baris and ask the driver to drop you off along the way.
